Tè al Frutto della Passione

The marigold in this is what surprised me, it gives the black tea a floral edge that keeps the passion fruit from tasting like candy. I've been drinking it iced in the afternoons and the tropical flavor still comes through strong.

I was worried the passion fruit would taste fake and syrupy, but it's genuinely light and tropical over the black tea. Steeped it about four minutes and the marigold adds this subtle floral note in the background. Already on my second box.

The marigold flowers give it a lovely bright note that balances the passion fruit's sweetness without making it too tart. It brews up a nice deep amber and the organic black tea base holds its own even after a few minutes of steeping. Only wish the fruit flavor were a touch stronger.
