Chocolate Balsamic

In the tradition of the balsamic of Modena, Italy, this Aceto Balsamic infused with Chocolate is rich, sweet, and flavorful. Aged for 18 years it has that perfect balance of sweet and sour that can only be achieved by the processes perfected by generation after generation. This Chocolate Balsamic is a perfect partner with Florida Orange Extra Virgin Olive Oil for a wonderful twist on a salad. Chocolate Balsamic vinegar is best paired with desserts and drizzled over fruits that like chocolate: bananas, berries, pineapple. Fantastic on vanilla ice cream or gelato, and fabulous on cheesecake. But Chocolate Balsamic vinegar isn't just for dessert: try this distinctive balsamic with hard cheeses like Parmesan and Asiago, or in chiles and mole sauces.

Available in 250ml, 8.5 fl.oz.

Avery P. ★★★★★

Drizzled this over strawberries last night and it was unreal, the 18-year aging really comes through with that deep, syrupy sweetness. The chocolate flavor is subtle enough that it doesn't overpower the balsamic, just rounds it out perfectly.

Brian C. ★★★★★

I was skeptical about chocolate in a balsamic, but the 18-year aging really shows in how smooth it pours. It's syrupy and rich without being cloying, and a little goes a long way on strawberries.

Scarlett E. ★★★★★

The 18-year aging really comes through—it's thick and syrupy, not thin and watery like cheaper balsamics. I've been finishing roasted strawberries with it and the chocolate note is subtle but unmistakable.
