ABOUT RAW SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AVOCADO BLOSSOM HONEY

Avocado Blossom honey is hard to find and absolutely delicious. It is extremely dark in color and intense in taste. Avocado Blossom is very similar in taste to a dark molasses.

Avocado Blossom honey is excellent in a strong cup of tea or espresso, drizzled over a creamy feta cheese or used a substitute for molasses when baking.

Raw honey never goes bad, however it will naturally harden and crystallize over time. This is a natural process that can easily be reversed to its liquid state. Simply warm a pot of water on the stove or in the microwave. Remove the bowl and place your honey bear or jar in the warmed water until the crystals dissolve.

Raw honey is not recommended for pregnant women or infants under one year of age.

I've never had avocado blossom honey before and the flavor caught me off guard in a good way, kind of buttery with a faint fruity finish. It's raw and from Temecula, and you can tell it hasn't been over-processed because it started crystallizing after a couple weeks, which apparently means it's the

The avocado blossom honey has this buttery, almost molasses-like depth I wasn't expecting from a raw honey. I've been stirring a spoonful into my morning tea and it dissolves way smoother than the clover stuff I used to buy. Finding a Temecula-sourced raw honey this good is a nice surprise.

I was skeptical that avocado blossom honey would taste all that different, but this stuff from Temecula has a rich, almost buttery depth that’s ruined regular honey for me. The raw texture is thick and smooth, and it’s been perfect stirred into tea or just on a spoon when I need a sweet fix.
